WRONGFUL DEATH AND CATASTROPHIC OR PERMANENT INJURY
A wrongful death case is one brought on behalf of a deceased persons
survivors that alleges the death was attributable to the willful or negligent
act of another. Catastrophic or permanent injury cases are those in which
the plaintiff suffers one or more physical or mental impairments that
will never go away. Practically all of our work involves cases where someone
has wrongfully lost their life or is catastrophically or permanently injured.
We limit our practice areas to cases involving these type situations.
We spend a great deal of our time and resources developing evidence and
testimony designed to clearly identify, portray and describe the unique
circumstances of every case.
INSURANCE DISPUTES
As long as individuals pay insurance premiums in a timely fashion, the
insurance company generally acts like a good neighbor. Sometimes
when the policy holder calls upon the insurance company to pay a claim,
the policy holder may discover that he or she is not really in good
hands as far as the insurance company is concerned. We represent
clients with claims against their insurance carriers for bad faith denial
of benefits and claims that should have been paid but were not. These
claims can involve health/hospitalization insurance, life insurance, home
insurance, and general property insurance claims.
PREMISES LIABILITY
A premises liability case addresses the liability of property owners for
injuries occurring to another on their property. These cases may involve
the failure to warn of a dangerous condition, inadequate security and
other safety related issues.
